Why am I paying now, not at collection??

2024 was the first year in over 40 years of selling Christmas poultry that we have ever asked for payment in advance. It did make the collection process hassle free and we were not reliant on the temperamental vagaries of the internet for taking payment on the day. The quantity of 'ordered but not collected' birds dramatically reduced which was the main aim but unbelievably did not disappear altogether despite having been paid for! Being an advocate of keeping cash in circulation and believing that we should all have the option to choose how we pay, it was not a decision that was taken lightly. With this in mind should anyone wish to pay in cash we are here Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm when you can call in and see us to place your order and pay, it is always nice to see customers at any time of the year.
